IPS International School of Wrocław, one of the 5 largest private international schools in Poland, is opening its second campus in Rzeszów and is looking for a Principal of the newly established Primary School.
This will be the first school of its kind in Rzeszów – a modern, multicultural, and inspiring place that will be part of an organization celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2026.
The school will open its doors to students on September 1, 2026, but we plan to begin collaboration with the future school leader already in the 2025/2026 school year. We are looking for someone who will join us full-time from August 1, 2026 (based on an employment contract) but will also be available during the upcoming school year (based on a cooperation agreement) to work with our team on the creation and launch of the school – including formal aspects.
Candidate profile
We are looking for a passionate educational leader who is not afraid of challenges, enjoys working in a dynamic environment, and wants to have a real impact on creating a unique educational space. We seek an open-minded person, ready to work closely with an international staff and who understands the specifics of a multicultural environment – over half of our teaching staff are highly qualified international teachers from abroad.
We are looking for someone with experience in managing an educational institution and knowledge of the legal aspects of running a school under the Polish education system. A significant portion of the work will be carried out in English; therefore, fluent command of the language is required. Experience in international education, including British and American curricula, or at foreign schools will be a strong asset.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Polish qualifications for managing educational institutions
Fluent English (C1/C2 level)
Experience as a school principal or vice-principal
Knowledge of the legal aspects of school leadership according to Polish education law
Experience working in international schools (experience gained abroad is a plus)
At least 3 references or contact persons
Excellent organizational skills, high sense of responsibility, and commitment
Openness and ease in communicating with people from various cultures
High personal and professional culture
